At the Ukrida Campus II Auditorium in West Jakarta, the 56th anniversary of Krida Wacana Christian University (Ukrida) was commemorated under the banner of "Let Your Light Shine.". Beginning with a Thanksgiving Service led by Pastor Ronny Nathanael, the series of anniversary activities got underway.

Pastor Ronny Nathanael urged all Ukrida academics in his opening reflection to carry on working at their best and in the right way so that the community would also benefit from their positive effects. In this way, Ukrida actually embodies his role as a lantern bearer who spreads goodness for a large number of people.

The 56th anniversary of Ukrida, according to Chancellor Wani Devita Gunardi, presents a challenge for the organization to increase its visibility through the results of its labors. In order to close the gap in 2022, Ukrida obtained accreditation assessment results from two study programs: Informatics, which saw an increase in its accreditation rating to Excellent, and Accounting, which also saw an increase in its accreditation rating to Excellent.

"For the Accounting study program and the Informatics study program, respectively, a series of accreditation procedures were conducted by LAM-INFOKOM and LAM-EMBA. Prior to this, the Accounting study program also received an ISO 21001: 2018 certificate from the British Standard Institution, making it known as a competitive study program on both the national and international levels, according to Wani.

Additionally, Wani provided an annual report that detailed the accomplishments made in 2022 as well as the future goals and focus of Ukrida. When reviewing the history of Ukrida's founding, Oki Widjaja, Chairman of the Governing Body of the Krida Wacana Christian Higher Education Foundation, recalled that Ukrida was born from the "rib" of BPK Penabur (at the time, it was still known as the Local Assistance Commission-KPS).

Oki recalled a number of points based on the university's Main Performance Indicators (IKU), which were introduced by the Directorate of Higher Education. Among other things, Oki emphasized that universities can become more relevant to societal needs, and this is what the implementation of the independent learning campus independent program (MBKM) means. A teaching practitioner program is another way that students are benefitted.

In order to give students more open scientific insights than they would receive from one-way learning alone, the study program is also intended to be collaborative and participatory. It is no longer a program as it enters its third year; instead, it has evolved into a more progressive and collaborative movement and culture within Indonesia's educational industry.

It is hoped that this will make students more receptive to change and innovation, according to Nadiem. A scientific oration titled Human Capital as a Driver of long-term economic growth After the Covid-19 Pandemic, Comparison ASEAN-5 Countries was also presented as part of the 56th Anniversary of Ukrida by Soegeng Wahyoedi, a lecturer at the Ukrida Faculty of Economics and Business.
